Before founding PlanLab, Felix was a Partner in the Boston Consulting Group’s London office. During his tenure at BCG, Felix worked with clients on all forms of planning, from real-time manufacturing scheduling through to long term infrastructure project planning. Prior to working at BCG Felix served as a Captain in the British Army, and read Economics Mathematics and Statistics at the University of London.
Was a product owner of BCG’s supply chain optimization product, built optimizers for manufacturing and retail. Did his first Masters in computer science and started as a software engineer in 2009. Got interested in machine learning and went to ETH Zurich for the second Masters in statistics, specializing in NLP. After failing his first ML venture in 2015, moved to London for the startup ecosystem.
Before founding PlanLab, Max was a Lead Data Scientist in the Boston Consulting Group's Amsterdam office. Max has deep experience developing optimization use-cases for some of the most complex scheduling problems in the world, including global airline planning, field-force optimization and real-time production scheduling. Max has a Masters in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from LMU Munich.
